About this tutor

I am not trying to tutor advanced math, I want to work with younger people who are struggling to grasp basic math concepts!

I once struggled with everything math-related, but I found the skills to be successful in mathematics. I am young and can relate to today's younger generation than someone who is older can.

Teaching is the most rewarding job, you can partake in seeing someone grow and understand something they once did not is far more rewarding than any monetary value.

He was slow, at first I was very confused with understanding how to multiply fractions, but now I understand it. I am confident in my ability to perform even more advanced math!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First I like to engage with the student. It is most important for me to find their needs and struggles. My goal is to teach students the skills they need to problem-solve. Once you are not fooled by the facade of most problems, math becomes fun and easy!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went from nearly failing my math classes to getting an A in multiple AP level calculus classes. I learned how to problem solve and how to attack advanced problems. The fundamentals are what you are most important to learn.
