Hello! I am located in Elkhart, Indiana, but am available for online tutoring anywhere.
I am a certified K-6 teacher with a valid teaching license and ten years of experience in elementary education. I have a Bachelor's degree in elementary education, a reading minor, and an ENL license from Anderson University. I have taught reading intervention, third grade and fourth grade and have tutored children in Pre-K through 12th grade. I have presented math workshops for fellow elementary and middle school teachers, and I am proficient in helping struggling readers grow in their ability to read and understand text.
I absolutely love being able to work with children one-on-one in order to see what they know and help them grow from there. I try to get to know each child in order to build lessons that are fun and engaging for each individual. I have a proven track record of helping children grow in leaps and bounds while genuinely enjoying tutoring time! I aim to help children grow in competence, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning.
