Seeking to offer a service intended to be an extension of the student's teacher without all the constraints/distractions found in the classroom. I find that traditional learning environments can be overwhelming and cause difficulty to focus. Without the proper attention or engagement, a child can quickly become uninterested in academics. By introducing new and exciting, hands-on approaches to previously taught cirriculum, the student will become reengaged in their academic goals. I enjoy helping kids develop a love for learning while following a personalized path set for maximum academic growth.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before starting any new student program, I collaborate with those who know the student best--teachers and family members. This allows for me to get a better idea of what the student expects to accomplish and let's me know of any areas that may need particular focus. After obtaining this information from the initial consultation, I am able to gather specific study materials and resources related to the goals of the student. Next the student may take a diagnostic assessment to determine areas of strengths and weaknesses within that subject. Now we can discuss possible learning paths and implement a plan of action based on the student's specific learning style.
