About
I am willing to organize assignments for the students outside of the one to one session, and I would be more than happy to answer questions at any time once they contact me through email or text.
I greatly enjoy seeing the students gradually have their efforts be translated into accomplishments. It's a unique learning experience for me as well because it's eye-opening to witness how different the students' approaches are towards resolving a problem and their perserverence throughout the whole process.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I inquire which areas of the math they are struggling with. Then, if the student has any specific school resources, we can practice using those worksheets or textbooks. If the student doesn't have any particular coursework, I can give them practice questions to do on their own time and review and answer their questions after the student completes the worksheet.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The highest level math course I have taken is AP Calculus AB, and I have taken courses in Algebra, Geometry, and every grade level of math ranging from 1st grade to 11th grade. I participated in a math tutoring school program for a year, aiding students in mostly Algebra II. I have worked at Kumon, a learning center for children, for two years. There, I have helped students in counting, operations, factoring, systems of equations, etc.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a standard pricing system; I am willing to negotiate with the client what price works for them.
How did you get started teaching?
Initially, a classmate of mine was having difficulty with a math course, and I offered to answer her questions. That experience prompted me to become involved with an SRT math tutoring program.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages, from elementary school to high school students. The youngest students I have tutored are 5 and the oldest are 17. I will cater the tutoring to accomodate the client. I have worked with students one on one and with multiple students simultaneously.
