About
As a younger person myself, I understand how young people think. Having worked with many peers, I've been able to adapt my style to various learning styles, with explanations and strategies unique to each. Though I'm pretty laidback and fun, my main priority is to make sure you understand the concepts you need to, not just that you finished a homework assignment. Hope to speak to you soon!
I genuinely have a passion for learning, especially in the math and sciences, and I love spreading that wonder and joy to others!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Generally, I like to do some quick diagnostic quizzes or activities regarding the subject in which they're struggling. Then we'll talk about what specifically they don't understand, and teach from there!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken and succeeded in the following AP class:
-AP Literature and Composition
-AP English and Composition
-AP Calculus AB
-AP Calculus BC
-AP Chemistry
-AP Physics 1
Along with knowledge of how to pass a class, as a TA for my high school's science department, I have experience in teaching as well. Additionally, I am currently a National Merit Finalist, and am attending Indiana University Bloomington, double majoring in chemistry and physics.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Though I'm certainly negotiable, I tend towards $20-40 per hour, depending on the subject. and how much the student is struggling.
How did you get started teaching?
As an excelling student, I've often been asked by peers to help them to complete homework, study, etc, and I've found over the years that I've quite enjoyed the experience.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think the best option is to shop around. If you meet with a tutor a few times, and they don't make sense to you, find someone else!! Everyone learns differently, and everyone prefers a certain personality.
