Watson Elementary Tutoring
About
I am passionate about elementary education and I love to make learning fun and engaging. I will help reach goals by seeing where my students need and pushing them to their potential.
In college, I tutored a 4th-grade student in math and helped him better understand multiplication and made learning fun. I am currently working as a nanny. I work with 2 kids and help them excel in first and second grade.
I went to Ball State University where I studied Elementary Education, with a concentration in reading. I got my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I worked with many different age groups k-5. I worked as a kindergarten teacher for one year in 2019-2020 and taught all subject areas. I worked hard to reach the needs of every student.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student I would introduce myself and get to know the student. During the meeting, I would discuss expectations, see if my pricing would work for them, what day and time works best for them. I would give them a pre-test to see where they are at and what we need to focus on during our sessions.
