About
Math has always been my favorite subject and being able to help someone else gives me a reason to stay working at the subject. I will be able to help you through games and interactive methods. I had the top 5 SAT score at my highschool and I am very capable of helping others.
Being able to see students enjoy math and want to keep learning makes the job worth it. Becoming an excellent student in school can truly boost confidence in so many ways. My confidence changed in the classroom once I was shown that I was an above average student.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Starting out, I love exchanging introductions between the student and myself. The opportunity to learn about one another will give us the chance to warm up our teacher- student dynamic but also establish trust.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a daycare provider and nanny to multiple children since 2020. I've also been a personal trainer for Spanish speaking clients and all ages. This has led me to working with all grade levels up to 12th grade after school for tutoring. I am also an economics major at DePaul university.
How did you get started teaching?
As I began my career as a daycare provider I understood how important education was at home as well as in school.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary- high school
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I've recently become a mother to 2 beautiful girls and they have changed my life in the best ways possible.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be sure to keep an open mind, especially when it comes to teaching styles. As you get older you will have many teachers of all ages and cultures and you must learn from them all.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your main goal you'd like to achieve by the end of your sessions?
