About
Experienced high school student tutor. Charging low rates!
I tutor middle school or elementary children only. Because of my young age, kids tend to favor me more. They enjoy working with someone who is closer to their age. I have had sufficient amount of experience tutoring a diverse group of kids at my high school's tutoring club for years. That's why I've decided to bring my skills to the virtual world.
As a knowledge tutor, I hope I can deliver a satisfactory lesson to your child. With every single tutoring session, not only does the tutee learn, but I also learn how I could be a better tutor.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before I work with a new student, I contact their parents who can give me valuable information on how I can better their child's learning experience. Then, instead of jumping into tutoring them, I hold a friendly conversation to get to know each other for a day. From here onwards, the tutoring process begins.
I try my best to use fun methods such as games to engage my students. If the students makes a mistake, instead of discouraging them, I guide them to fix it. I regularly check up with them if they remember what they've learned.
I'm here to teach the student in a manner that will truly benefit them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently, I'm a high school student. Although I may not have a degree in my field, I'm a knowledge student who knows what they are doing. My tutoring experience mainly comes from the students I've worked with in my high school tutoring club.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a complicated pricing system. As of now, I simply charge at a low price of $8.00/session. Each session is a maximum of 30 minutes. During these difficult times, I do not want to burden families with high expenses. Everyone has enough problems already.
How did you get started teaching?
At a young age, I liked helping my classmate understand something that they didn't. This developed my tutoring skills and led me to make the choice of tutoring kids. I had most recently taught students in my high school's tutoring club.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of students; quiet ones, talkative ones, a mix of everything. I'm willing to work with any type of student.
