About
We are really passionate about teaching. Being a group of Math enthusiasts from highly reputed universities of India, we keep our classes to the point and problem centric. Our motto is to drive away the fear of Mathematics that somehow has become so normal for millions around the World.
We have been teaching both Mathematics and Sciences for about 6 years now. Some of our students are doing exceptionally well in their concerned field of work.
I have personally pursued a post graduate degree in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai. This passion and drive towards Mathematics made me found Simplified Math 5 years ago with the goal of collaborating Math and Science enthusiasts around the globe.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a fresher, we analyse his logical and thinking skills first. We always look for a student who can learn more and not the one who knows more. Obviously the latter is an added advantage. We take our lessons slowly with utmost importance on how a student copes up with the lesson hours. Our whole purpose in the first few weeks is to slowly grow interest in him regarding the subject. Once that is done, teaching Math is just a piece of cake!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a team of highly experienced teachers from reputed institutes of India. I have done my post graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai. I have been closely associated with Physics and Mathematics since my high school days.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Currently, we have kept our courses both pocket friendly and student friendly at the same time. Feel free to contact us regarding the pricing.
Typically, the charges will vary between $20-50 per hour, with a few exceptions in certain cases.
How did you get started teaching?
Right from high school, I had an affection towards teaching. While other students dreamt of becoming engineers and doctors (both the career being very common in Asia), I had an urge to understand the subject to it's core and always discussed more and more with my peers.
I started teaching at the age of 18, and my very first student is doing his PhD in AstroPhysics from LSU.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked primarily with Indian students (typically CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE boards). I have personally done some freelancing myself and have taught a couple of US students as well.
The best thing about working with Indian students is that you have to cover a huge portion of syllabus within a very limited time. This has always been a challenge for us, and we can say proudly that we have stood up to the challenge.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There's a funny incident actually. One of our faculties got sick just beofre the Biology exam, and due to others being not working in the ongoing pandemic situation, I was asked to take the Biology class for grade 10 right before their virtal exam next day.
Frankly, I had left Biology in grade 10 and never liked the subject that much. But somehow, woke up the entire night, learnt and relearnt the different systems of a human body and delivered a splendid lecture on Nervous System the next morning.
Students were impressed too, and by the end of the lecture, they reminded me that the test was actually on Reproductive System, and I felt terrible. Fortuantely, our full time Biology faculty, Perth came to my rescue and saved the day.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Before hiring any teacher, try to get connected with him/her. Try to know his motive behind teaching. I know some excellent teachers who make students get the highest in their class, but deep dowm, the students don't learn much or they don't get any interest for the subject.
Any teacher should leave a long term impression on you before making you independent enough to learn on your own. Basically, a teacher will not teach you the subject, he will teach you how to learn right.
