In high school, my friends always asked me to help read and edit their essays. I realized how much I liked doing it, so here I am! I've edited dozens of essays before for clarity, grammar, and context. I am happy to help you with your essay!
I enjoy when students come in with a piece of work that they are not sure of and need help with. When they leave, they are confident and equipped to be better writers with skills that last!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask you to send me the assignment or question to be completed and what you have so far. I require a rough draft to be done on Google Docs prior to asking for help. I will then go in and read your essay, making comments pertaining to grammar, context, and phrasing within one business day and send it back. Then, we can communicate and I can answer any questions you have about the comments I made so we can help you talk through it to help perfect your essay.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High School Diploma, currently pursuing college degree. In high school, volunteered in the English tutoring room helping with grammar and editing essays.
