About
I'm currently a senior in college going for my mechanical engineering degree. I tutored math in high school to both my peers and through national honors society. I have the abiltiy to understand points of confusion for the student and can better address the issue.
I enjoy the light bulb moments students have. I appreciate the position I'm able to be in to encourage students to continue trying despite difficulties faced in the classroom. I hope to inspire students to pursue the challenges and provide techniques on how to approach those challenges.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask the student how he or she prefers learning. I like to gauge what the individual struggles with and tackle the points of confusion. I like to give lot of examples and work through problems with the student first and then testing their knowledge. I prefer connecting information with analogies and providing a rationale of when it'd be useful.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a senior in mechanical engineering with a 3.8 GPA. I have tutored through national honors society for math. I have also tutored peers in math throughout high school and college. I have also volunteered as an English tutor through Catholic Charities for immigrants.
