Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an English tutor and a Science tutor during my junior and senior year. These experiences have helped me grow as a tutor by helping me strengthen my communication and advising skills. I have worked with a wide range of students, allowing me to adapt easily with any given student.

After discussing with you and figuring out what services you are looking for, we will set a price and schedule!
How did you get started teaching?
I have always enjoyed helping other students at my school, so I wanted to continue tutoring people outside of school!
What types of students have you worked with?
Since majority of my tutoring experiences come from school, I have had the opportunities to assist a variety of kids: ESL (English Second Language) students, academic-level students, and honors/AP students. I have mainly helped kids who were in grades 9-11.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My favorite tutoring memory was of a freshman girl who came in for help on her essay. She always mentioned how she struggled with writing, and she was never confident in herself after continuously scoring B averages. After a few tutoring sessions, we completed her writing assignment. A month later, she found me in the halls to tell me she got a 96% with a beaming smile: her highest score on an essay!
