About
I'm a graduate student at DePaul University studying Secondary Education English. I also received my Bachelor's Degree in English from DePaul. I tutored writing at the college level for three years and am now looking to incorporate that experience into my current training to be a high school English teacher. I am passionate about giving students the tools to both express themselves and to succeed. At the core of my philosophy are respect, collaboration, and individuality.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It's important to me to learn how each student learns and works and to help them hone those processes to be the best students they can be. I also prioritize building a strong relationship early in the process based on mutual trust and respect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my undergraduate degree in English and am currently training to be a high school English teacher. I've also been trained as a generalist tutor, specializing in writing.
