About this tutor

Greetings! Let me begin by sharing my belief that all students can learn. One must assess the best format to suit the needs of each individual learner. Two decades of teaching experience has taught me how to identify the academic strengths and weaknesses of learners in order to develop an individualized tutoring plan to meet your student's need.

My approach varies depending on student need and learning style; however, my teaching philosophy is founded on encouraging students to think for themselves using real-world examples whenever possible. I begin by exploring concepts students are comfortable with and gradually move towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check for understanding continually.

I believe passionately in the benefit of tutoring to students and take great satisfaction in seeing my students achieve their full potential.
