Math Tutoring
About
I am a retired military veteran with extensive experience helping individuals achieve their educational and professional goals. I attended Marquette University where I tutored Algebra and Calculus for three years. In the military, I attended many military schools and college prep schools and earned numerous academic awards to include the United Service Organizations Academic Award, Distinguished Military Graduate, and in flight school, I graduated top of my class and was selected to fly the F-18 fighter jet. As an officer, I tutored countless sailors seeking higher education. I was also a flight instructor in the Navy where I instructed countless students and pilots. I also earned a Executive Masters of Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2014. Allow me to utilize my years of experience and help you attain your education goals. My method involves identifying weak areas, strengthening concept comprehension, and sustaining long-term success through positive reinforcement and developing effective study habits.
I have always enjoyed helping other understand difficult concepts. I struggled in my early academic years; however, my difficulty stemmed from a lack of motivation and application. After high school, I joined the military and that is where I discovered my true potential. Later on, when I became a pilot, I honed my study techniques, and I also developed an extraordinary sense of confidence. Now I can bring my years of experience to you. I am very passionate about helping others realize their true potential and develop the same sense of scholastic confidence.
