About
I am an idependent tutor who specializes in math and chemistry. As a current third-year chemical engineering student at Northwestern University, I am well-versed in algebra, calculus, and chemistry. I use these concepts every day in my research, and I am an excellent teacher. I have tutored prior students in AP Calculus BC, Chemistry Triginometry, and Algebra II.
I love tutoring because I beleive that face-to-face interaction and developing a connection is one of the most important parts of learning. I'm very passionate about concepts of math and chemistry, so I will always come prepared with examples and interesting stories related to the topics to engage students in the subject.

How did you get started teaching?
I started as a tutor as early as middle school, when I was recruited to help out on a volunteer basis for younger kids who were struggling with their studies. During the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, I worked with several high-school students on an online basis. As a college student, I have continued to tutor middle and high school students, primarily in calculus, algebra, and chemistry.
