What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, i try to learn what their strengths and weaknesses are. Then i focus on turning their weaknesses into strengths, and reinforcing their strengths, especially through positive reinforcement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a college student, and have never earned less than an A in every math course i have ever taken in my life. I know my subject inside and out.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching by tutoring friends and classmates. My tutoring skills became well-esteemed though word of mouth.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from middle schoolers to fellow college students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was helping a student understand a particular problem in Precalculus, and there was a moment where he suddenly understood what i was talking about. That is what makes it all worth it.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
look for someone who is calm, patient, and understanding.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should think about what they actually need help with. Not being very specific about your needs will make you waste a lot of time.
