Dante Salamante is a world class performer, accomplished pianist and an experienced piano/guitar/bass/drums/ukulele/harmonica and voice teacher. He hails from the Philippines where he began playing lead guitar for his High School band. He has over 20 years of successful teaching experience with children and years of experience as an entertainer. His love for music has taken him all over the world as a solo pianist and lead guitarist in a band. He has collaborated with other musicians and singers throughout his many years of performing and teaching.
He offers a coordinated approach to music instruction for beginning and intermediate students. He has taught both online and in person. His students ranges from 5 years of age through 60 years of age. His repertoire includes classical, jazz, rock and current hits. He takes pride on knowing some of his mentored students are now established musicians just like himself. He has worked at Royal Carribean (Anthem of the Seas and Jewel of the Seas) as a lead guitar in a band. A solo pianist at Marella Discovery which is a European cruiseship.
He is currently a member of a local band, NO LIMITS BAND of Chicago, as a bassist and they perform on weekends particularly in the Northwest Suburban areas. An active member of FMOC (Filipino Musicians of Chicago). He currently resides in Elgin with his beautiful wife, children and adorable dog, Sophie.
