I am a professional research scientist who specializes in machine learning and chemistry. I have extensive experience in math, chemistry, statistics, and other related fields.
I formerly taught students at Louisiana State University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I do is try to get a feel for what the student already knows and try to identify where the bottle neck is. I also try to get a feel for what their goals in life are
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PHD in computational physical chemistry along with a Bachelors in theoretical mathematics. I have several years of practical work experience which includes machine learning and programming in languages such as Python.
How did you get started teaching?
I use tutoring as a way to help pay for expenses when I was attending college. Since then I've taught as part of my teachers assitant program in graduate school and have been pretty much teaching and mentoring students of various levels.
What types of students have you worked with?
Pretty much everything from 6th grade up to Graduate School and beyond.
