I have been teaching and tutoring since 2007. I started teaching and tutoring 5-6 students in Chicago three times a week with students in kindergarten to 7th grade. I am currently trained in Wilson reading.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initially, I assess the child to get a baseline where to start with the child, then I start working with the child on the given lesson. I take notes and make changes as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Illinois State Board of Eduction Substitute Teaching License.
I have a Special Education Advocate Training Certificate
I have the Illinois Certification Basic Skills Exam
I have 30 - hour Comprehensive Training based on Orton- Gillingham Methodology Certificate.
I have the TEFL (Teach English in a Foreign Land) Institute Professional Certificate --In recognition of successful completion of 150 hours of TEFL Professional Training comprised of 130 hours of coursework and 20 hours of Practicum Training in the couse of study:
