Kathleen was able to identify the learning needs of my nephew and provide additional targeted supports to help him progress in reading. Based on her efforts, skills in teaching sound - symbol associations, and helping my nephew blend sounds, he now read at the 90th percentile for students his age. Kathleen innately understands the process of Response to Intervention. She enthusiastically monitors her students academic progress and changes her teaching to match the learning styles and instructional needs of her students.
