General Tutor With Center Experience
About
Hello! My name is Eshwa and I'm a graduate student at Midwestern University. I have tutored students K-12 privately for years, and have experience as a lead instructor at a popular math tutoring center franchise. My belief is that bad students do not exist; they either lack in certain fundamentals (resolvable) or are discouraged due to a lack of progress (also resolvable). Students that are "average" or even "above average" can benefit from supplementary material to build on their strengths and target their weaknesses.
I love seeing progress in the students I work with. Improvement is the ultimate goal with tutoring and seeing students become more confident and happy with their grades is what I strive for!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
This really depends on the student's age, current academic performance, and goals. Typically once I have more information on where the student currently stands and which areas need more improvement, I can proceed with making a plan that helps the student reach their goals. Of course, as the learning occurs, we can modify this plan to more effectively make progress in a time effective and efficient manner.
