What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Building a relationship with students is the key to understanding how they learn. All of us are different, but we all have the capacity to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates (McHenry County College), Bachelor’s in History/English (Northeastern Illinois University), a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction (William Woods University), and a Master’s in Teaching (Dominican University).

How did you get started teaching?
After my honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, I went back to school to get my degree to teach. I have always wanted to be a teacher since I could remember.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade, ESL and bilingual students, students with Special Needs and IEPs, as well as general education students.
