Math/Science/Social Studies Tutoring
About
Hi! I have been tutoring and teaching for a couple of years now. I tutored younger students at my high school and I also teach modeling and acting at my modeling agency. I have taken multiple AP classes in high school including Psychology, English, and French. Throughout my high school career and into my college career I have achieved a 5.0 GPA as well as multiple awards for my academic ability.
I love teaching and being around kids and teenagers. Because of my younger age, I am able to connect with kids and teens very easily (as I am 18 years old) which helps make tutoring and teaching easier. I want to put a focus not only on learning material but how to improve retaining information as well as learning techniques.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Normally, I take the approach of getting to know my students before getting to work. I like to know and understand their goals and passions. That way, I can adapt to their learning style while incorporating what they like as a way to help them learn and master the material.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was apart of the National Honors Society in me high school. Through this program, I helped tutor other high school students from all grades. I also teach modeling and acting at my modeling agency. I work with all ages ranging from 7-50 years old.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I don't really have a set prive for anything. It all depends on the clients and what works best for them. If I had to say, I would say my rate would be between $10-20 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was 16 years old. I was a booking agent at my modeling agency and I first started filling in for teachers that called in sick. Eventually, so many students there left so many good reviews I was hired full time as a teacher there, and it all began.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students. I have tutored elementary students to high school teens. I have also worked with students dealing with special needs or disabilities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am very fond of starting school. This is an extremely important event to me. It is that time of year where everyone is going back to school. I will be moving into my college dorm very soon and I am so excited to go back to school!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone you connect with and that you enjoy talking to, that way, you will connect on an emotional level to help the learning process. You as a student have to find someone you are comfortable with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Some questions students should think about include: what are my goal? What do I hope to achieve at the end of this? What do I need in a teacher? What do I want their characteristics to be?
