Hello! My name is Kaylynn Arrington and I am a senior at the University of Illinois at Chicago and am currently majoring in data science. I have multiple years of experience tutoring grade school students in math specifically in pre-algebra and algebra. While my focus is mainly in math, I also have experience tutoring in english. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first look at the students current working level - this will allow me to prepare material based roughly around the right level of my student. I then look at areas where the student feels they are struggling (if they're able to identify this) and go from there.
