I'm a high school Algebra II teacher, teaching for three years. The majority of my students struggle with math or have gaps in their math skills. I practice patience and will work with you at your level.
Math has always been a joy to me throughout my K-12 education. I did not truly struggle until I started my math major courses in college. I would not be here if it was not for tutoring help I was able to receive from my peers, teachers, and graduate students. I enjoy making math accessible to everyone.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually start by asking the student what they struggle with their last math class. What do they feel they understand the best and what they would like to currently learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an Algebra II teacher and I've been teaching for three years.

$30/hr for lessons up to Algebra II
$40/hr for lessons on Pre-calculus, AP Calculus, Calculus I, SAT Prep
If you would like me to teacher create lessons there is a $10 up charge.
How did you get started teaching?
I have my degree in Secondary Mathematics Education.
What types of students have you worked with?
Typically high school students but I did my student teaching at a middle school at the 7th-grade level.
