Hi guys! My name is Priya. I've been tutoring high school math and ACT/SAT math & english for 5 years. I have a business degree (majoring in finance & economics) and work as a market analyst. I tutor part-time.
I understand everyone learns in different ways and at a different pace, so I make sure to learn about each individual student's needs in order to best help them reach their A game.
I enjoy learning about my students and their academic & personal journies. I learn just as much from them as they do from me. Each student has their own goals and it's a pleasure to be able to help them get one step closer to reaching them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before starting with lessons, I like to learn about the students - their challenges, their objectives and their learning styles. I adjust my teaching style accordingly and then we can jump into the lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed all classes up until AP Calculus BC in highschool with an A in every class. In college, I majored in finance and economics, both of which required advanced math classes.
I have been tutoring middle school/high school math and science for 5 years.
Oh, and I was a mathlete in high school!

Pricing depends on specific subjects and level of content. Starting rate is $30/hr.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring part-time in college. Math has always come naturally to me and I genuinely enjoy it. So I thought I would help us students who needed a little extra guidance.
