Literacy And Math Tutoring
About
I use visual Montessori teaching materials, review cards, digital games, and quizzes to appeal to a variety of learning styles and help students build a deep foundation in their subjects.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have both a Bachelor and Master's degree in Education from Concordia University. I have worked as an Illinois State assessment developer for both PARCC and ISAT state assessments and have presented at state and national gifted conventions for gifted practices and mathematics. I have also served as a district level coach.
I have also been trained in mathematics best practices that are used in the United States, Japan, Singapore, and China.
My customized tutoring approach appeals to students that need an extra boost academically as well as students that want to stay ahead in their studies.
