I am currently a PhD student in Computer Science working in Bio Robotics. During my school days I hated Math. I was always so frustrating and complex to understand the idea. I was not doing well in Math until I came under the wing to a Math tutor. The way he explained Math was incredible. I scored the best possible score during that year in my batch. Later moved to Engineering and took 4 Math courses.
Being that tutors disciple, I feel I can bring a change to some who finds it hard to understand Math. Be it Trigonometry, Matrices, Calculus or Differentiation I am game.
Knowing how to learn is important. How to think like a Mathematician can only be shown by someone who has been through it. As Swami Vivekananda said "Take risk in your life, if you succeed you can lead, if you fail you can guide".

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to know where the student is getting stuck. Their thought process and their problem solving skills. I would check if their foundation is strong or not. I would like to know which text they are referring to.
