Margaret Donnelly

With 33 years of classroom teaching experience, I offer personalized tutoring for students of all learning styles, including those with ADHD, IEP or 504 plans. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K–9) with a specialization in Social Studies, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University, and 40+ hours of specialized training in reading, writing, and math intervention. My experience includes creating and implementing engaging common core aligned lessons, piloting reading and writing programs, teaching after-school STEM for grades 3–5, and preparing 8th grader students for the HSPT test for private high school entrance exams. I currently serve on my district’s Innovative and Math Committees, ensuring instruction reflects best practices. I offer in person and Zoom tutoring providing flexible, supportive, and confidence building instruction tailored to each student.
