I have always enjoyed helping people understand math. My passion for the subject and love of teaching helps me to convey even complex and abstract concepts to people.
I have experience teaching university-level classes. My students always appreciated the amount of detail and explanation I gave to them when they were having trouble with a topic. I go above and beyond when attempting to help people learn.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I need to understand what you need help with. So that will involve me looking at some of the class work that you have done and discussing your feelings about the subject.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Mathematics. I also have experience teaching advanced college level math to classes of students.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching as a job during my master's program.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked mainly with undergraduate math students but am able to help students of all ages.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The most important thing in learning is to understand what you do not understand. It is always extremely helpful when a student can say what specifically they need help with and what is holding them back from understanding it. I need to understand you to help you understand the math!
