I really love learning and explaining complicated topics in a way that everybody can understand. I easy going, engaged, and dedicated to success. I have an extensive science and math background and have found great success in breaking down very difficult concepts into easy to understand components. I want to share the knowledge I have attained over years of science and mathematics and encourage student understanding and success.
I have bachelors degree in biology from the University of Arkansas
I am currently attending medical school at ICOM.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Make a general connection. This allows to me to understand the student and be able to anticipate the type of learner they are. I a firm believer in making learning enjoyable. Breaking down daunting tasks into smaller pieces and applying it. It is important to have a relaxing and encouraging environment that promotes learning and thorough understanding.

High school classes 35-40 dollars an hour.
College courses 50-60 dollars an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I found the way I learn makes it very easy to explain to people so I began tutoring sciences in college. It allowed to me break down difficult concepts and explain them piece by piece which facilitates an actual understanding and not memorizing.

Mainly college
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Getting into medical school. It showed me that years of dedication to school and persistence paid off in the end.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who you feel comfortable around. You need to be relaxed and make a connection with that person. It really makes learning easier and less forced. Find someone that can make very difficult concepts easier to understand.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What's their goal?
What issues are they having with their current coursework? Is it the concepts, the way its being presented, or a poor learning environment?
Be completely open and honest. Just because you're struggling with a course, doesn't mean you're not smart. It could be so many other things.
