Tutoring To Survive COVID-19 Home Schooling
About
Williams College '24
I am an employed tutor at TigerLily STEM and am also a freelance tutor for younger students in my district.
Earlier this year, I ran a science club for students in grades 1-3. I am an honor roll student and have taken 15 Advanced Placement classes throughout high school. This year, I am graduating at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA. Feel free to reference my LinkedIn profile--Isabella Nadel.
I love helping the students I work with mold passions about subjects they were a few concepts away from developing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Whenever I work with a new student, I assess their weaknesses by talking to parents and/or taking short, skill-based check-ins. The most important of my philosophy is that my tutoring is student-driven, so they will be dictating what material we cover during a session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a tutor for a local tutoring business for one year. Before that, I worked as a freelance tutor for younger students in my district. Additionally, as a senior in high school, I have taken complex coursework that sufficiently equips me to tutor. Below are a few classes I have successfully completed:
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus (and all math up to Calculus)
AP Statistics
AP Language and Composition
AP Literature and Composition
AP Psychology
AP European History
AP United States History
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $20/hour, but am willing to make exceptions for students with financial need.
