Scott T Tutoring

Hello!

My name is Scott Tribbey and I'm an Iowa native living in the West Des Moines area. I graduated from the University of Iowa and work in finance as a certified public accountant. I have been in a teaching or tutoring role for the last 8 years. I've taught students of all ages from elementary through college-aged and adult students.

I naturally love working with other people and problem-solving together, and as a tutor I'm always striving for that "aha!" moment with my students. My most important objectives as a tutor are that my students feel comfortable asking questions and can be curious as they grow. I also maintain that a positive attitude is core to creating self-belief in students, and a positive environment is central to my teaching structure.
