About
With school being so uncertain this year, my husband and I are offering tutoring to any students (K-12) who might need some extra help with math. We both have mechanical engineering degrees, love math and science, and have experience teaching and tutoring.
Open to both in-person and virtual meeting options.
Being engineers, my husband and I both grew up with a love and aptitude for math and science subjects. We realize that not every student has similar feelings and that parents may struggle encouraging or helping with math homework themselves if they aren't passionate about the subject, so we'd love to fill that gap and bring some energy to the STEM subjects.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We typically start by working on what the students are given in school. Going through homework, preparing for tests and quizzes, and reviewing the appropriate math fundamentals for their grade. We then can focus in on the specific topics that the student is struggling with and try to explain them in new ways and improve with every session so that they can firmly grasp and keep up with their school curriculum.
