About

I extremely enjoy helping and teaching others. One of my favorite moments is seeing the student's face light up when they understand the subject. I'm a patient person who understands everyone learns differently and that sometimes adaption is needed. I have taken, and passed, many AP classes also, so I have experience with hard concepts and challenges.

Frequently asked questions

Typically when I begin working with a student I start by introducing myself and making them feel comfortable. I make sure to talk a little bit about myself so they feel comfortable. I also make sure to ask them a few questions so they know that I'm invested in them as a person and a student. Then, we'd begin the tutoring!

Even though I'm only a high school student, I have experience with difficult classes and volunteering with children. As an AP student, I know how to approach problems in different ways to find an answer and a solid understanding. Through my life I have volunteered in various places, most times with children. This has allowed me to be a better tutor.

As a high school student I recognized that I would be able to help kids younger than me. I have always wanted to work with kids and make them feel more excited about education and learning. I then decided to finally make the move to be a tutor.

I would say to choose a tutor that you believe you'll get along with and will be patient with you. In order to have a positive experience with a tutor, you must be sure that you'll enjoy working with them. Also, ask questions beforehand to make sure they have the experience and knowledge you're looking for in a tutor.
