I am a dedicated teacher who has a passion for educating students and seeing them grow as learners. I have tutored elementary aged students for about 5 years and just completed my first year of teaching. I teach special education and have loved seeing the successes that my students have made over the years. My goal is to meet the diverse needs of learners while making learning fun!
My favorite part about teaching is seeing my students grow and having them feel a successful about their learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I am working with a new student, I find it most important to get to know them personally and their learning style/needs. Developing relationships with students helps me know how the student learns, what they like/dislike, and what they might need help with. Once I have this information, I will find and implement strategies that are best fit for that particular student individually.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a special education teacher. I just finished my first year this Spring. I have also tutored kids grades 1-5 grades.
