About
I genuinely care about my students and not just about money. I do not use any negative words to describe my students. I always encourage my students and inspire them to improve in math and science or in any other subjects. I was bullied as a child and I know very well what not to do.
I love breaking down dififcult topics into multiple simple steps and enjoy watching students problem solve.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching my younger siblings and cousins from a very young age. After I graduated High School, I started teaching and I continued peer tutoring throughout my college life. I'm very passionate about teaching. I love encouraging students who are struggling in class and when students improve their grades it brings me joy.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a diverse group of students. Some of my students come from low income background and others were from middle and upper class families. I worked with students whose first language was not English. I worked with students who were weak at math and science when I first started tutoring them but they improved their grades and confidence later.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I visited my favorite local Thai restaurant. The manager of the place knows me very well and what I usually order. I ordered my favorite vegan pho with tofu. I was chatting with the restaurant manager and he then revealed to me how much he likes my presence as a customer. I paid the bill and I was about to leave the restaurant. The manager handed me large Reese chocolate bars for free as I was about to leave the restaurant. I was not expecting to receive free Reese chocolates.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Check if the teacher has a minimum Bachelor degree, work experience, caring and patient personality and if the teacher can teach the subjects you are struggling with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is the topic?
What is exactly being learned within the topic?
What is confusing? Where am I getting stuck and why?
Sometimes students cannot articulate their needs and that is fine too. A good teacher will ask students the right questions to figure out a solution.
