Peachy Tutoring
About
For over 25 years, I've helped students become confident, successful learners, and supported parents. I'd love to help you too. I have an MA in Special Education from American University, and a MEd from OxfordUniversity England,
My Background
I've worked as a teacher, learning specialist, executive function coach, curriculum designer, administrator, and school principal — supporting students in public and private schools, from elementary school all the way through college.
That range matters. It means I don't just know what to teach — I understand how schools work, how IEPs and 504 plans come together, and how to advocate for a student inside a system that doesn't always move at their pace.
Every student I work with is different, so every plan I build is different too.
I start as an educational diagnostician — identifying each student's specific strengths and needs before we ever begin a lesson. From there, I design instruction that's individualized, research-based, engaging, and practical, targeted to help them make real, measurable progress.
