Math Tutoring

I have over 12 years of high school teaching experience in both a private and public school setting. I previously held a Standard Professional I teaching certificate in Secondary Mathematics in Maryland. I have taught a wide variety of math courses to high school students, from Algebra I through AP Calculus (AB). I have also worked in the IT field for several years as both a software engineer and as a data and financial analyst.

I feel that a strong background in math helps students to think and to solve problems in all aspects of life. I am a firm believer that all students can gain success in math and I genuinely enjoy helping students earn the sense of accomplishment that comes along with understanding a difficult concept.
