The courses that people consider banal are the ones that many individuals tend to suffer in.This can be attributed to the lack of importance kids attach to these subjects. I want to assimilate teaching styles that public schools follow, along with techniques that I have gained by personal exertion. There are many ways to teach Algebra, but it is important to take into consideration that a child's success will be further enriched with supplemental teaching materials and methods.
I have been tutoring privately to my family members and friends since the age of eight, gaining experience and acquiring much needed skills along the way. During this time I have done a fair amount of research on teaching styles and through first hand experience i've made conclusive judgements regarding the effectiveness of each strategy. I've applied them to my personal studies, and enjoyed seeing my grades turn into a consistent high letter grade. I easily aced both my high rigor Algebra courses due to the skillful instruction led by my teachers. I taught myself using those same skills, and put them into effect when helping kids in my class. I believe that consistency is the key, and I would really enjoy helping others understand the fimilararity of consistent A plus grades.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we assess their basic understanding of prealgebra, using a diagnostics test. Then depending on their performance we prepare instruction material to supplement their learning. We have different teachers for different levels of understanding due to the requirement of skill to teach kids that are slower learners.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We all have been tutoring privately for over five years, and have helped friends and family members improve their grades by improving their ability to understand concepts.

The standard price for Alegbra One students is $15. while the standard price for Algebra 2 students is $16. Probability and any other middle school units cost $15. AP Human Geography costs around $19 whereas AP Biology totals up to $50 because a medical graduate will be teaching the unit. We enjoy helping kids understand these fundamental highschool subjects, and the money is needed to compensate the employees for their flexible schedules. We genuinely appreciate every dollar given to us, as college is not so far in our reach.
