What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I spend the first few sessions getting to know how the student likes to learn. I assess their strengths and weaknesses in a particular subject area and I assess their abilities, then we hit the ground running with whatever the student needs help in.
I leave it very open ended for how students want to be helped. You get to choose my style!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a tutor for over 3 years helping students in a variety of classes and grade levels. All the way from 3rd grade to high school, students have seen substantial improvements in their scores and abilities.
In addition I have recieved 5s in the (14!) AP subjects I teach as well as a perfect 800 on SAT Math and a 750 on SAT English.

Lessons are usually one hour long and charged an hourly rate. This rate is negotiable!

I have worked with all types of students, from those who are just beginners and know nothing about their subject, to students who are just trying to push themselves harder in a certain subject: all are welcome!
