About
I am a college student so I understand how difficult school can be and want to help student's based off of their individual needs and not just based off of a set curriculum.
I love seeing student's grasp a concept and become confident in it. When they finally understand the problem and how to solve it on their own without a tutor is when I know I've done my job.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to first understand what the student needs help with and focus on that. Every student is different so understanding what they need and helping them with that is what I want to do. I want the student to be able to the do work and helping them through it if they have work. By allowing the student to complete the work on their own and encouraging and helping them with the problems they struggle on, the student gains confidence in their ability to grasp the material and does not have to rely on the tutor when doing work on their own in school.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a rising 4th year Pre-Med student at The University of Georgia. I am a Biology and Psychology major. I have tutored with elementary and middle school students in both math and english in the past. I am most adept at helping student's work through their homework and preparing them for test and assesments.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a tutor based off you the student's needs. Every student is different and needs different things to succeed so finding a tutor that meets those needs is key to the student's success.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they need help on. Do they need to be retaught material that they didn't understand in school or help on homework or do they need test prep?
