Greeting parents and students my name is Kellae Gyening, I have been an educator for over 15 years. In 2016 I begin my own academic success company. I utilize a holistic approach, by integrating subject matter, personal interest, and cross-disciplinary explorations to demonstrate connections between academic disciplines and real-world experiences. As a result, learners acquire ownership of knowledge, which influences and inspires their growth as critical learners. Moreover, I examine students learning styles, habits of working, and obstacles hindering academic performance. Collectively, I work with students to establish a customized learning success plan and create a more effective and efficient approach to learning and studying. I work in close collaboration with students on improving academic potential, setting realistic goals, and helping them discover their true potential. As a passionate educator, I dedicate myself to assisting every student I am destined to serve to blossom throughout their academic and professional careers. Blossoming Minds believes that children must acquire content mastery, coupled with the essential skills for 21st-century learners, recognized as the “Four Cs”: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.

Teaching is the highlight of my day. It inspires and energizes me, and I enjoy devoting my time to working with students and helping them to develop, express and exchange their ideas. Likewise, teaching provides me the opportunity for a new world of knowledge for each participant. As we establish our bond through simple real-world conversation, I can take a glimpse of what is going on in the tutee’s mind. Thus, allowing me the ability to adjust, and develop unique methods that benefit them best. One of my favorite moments in the process of tutoring is when the tutee realizes that I am a member of their support team, thus allowing us to build trust and confidence in one another. As a result, the experience becomes one neither of us will soon forget.
