Teaching has been the most rewarding practice so far in my life. Each day is a new oppurtunity to further knowledge, and improve literacy skills which will help my students to improve upon their writing capabilities, analytical skills, and much more in relation to English. I have been teaching for two years now, both in a middle school and high school, which has presented me with the understanding to formualte effective practices as an educator.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With any new student, I believe it is vital to formulate an understanding as to what the student aims to accomplish in furthering their skills in the field of English. Additionally, I speak with new students in regards to their interests and hobbies, with this information I incorporate such topics into our lessons and study sessions. In doing so, students are more so willing to actively engage and look forward to tutoring sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked at Lakeside Middle School teaching 6th grade, and I have worked at Lumpkin County High School teaching 9th grade, 10th grade, and a creative writing class.

My price for tutoring is $40 per session.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with honor middle school students as well on-level students in the 9th and 10th grade. I am well versed in differentiating with experience teaching students with both IEP and 504 plans.
