I am passionate about assisting students to develop academic skills that will benefit them the entirety of their scholastic career. Seeing a students face light up with understanding is one of the most satisfying feelings in the world.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know the student a little bit and tell them a little about myself so that we can get comfortable with each other. Then I figure out what they're working on and what is giving them a hard time. After that, we work on their assignment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took two English courses in college. I also studied child development in college and learned the proper way to teach children and adolescents.

How did you get started teaching?
I took a teaching program in high school. I went to different elementary schools and assisted teachers with their students. I realized that I love teaching and helping students understand their assignments.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with daycare kids, kindergarteners, second graders, sixth graders and special needs high schoolers.
