I am a 21 year veteran teacher. I currently teach with Douglas County Schools. I have experience teaching language arts and social studies. I love children and I love teaching. I like tutoring in English, grammar, spelling, reading strategies, and writing. I want to help your students achieve their highest potential. I am here to help!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get an inventory to assess areas of weakness so that we know where to start. I like to get to know my students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in middle grades education. I have a masters degree in post secondary education and a specialist degree in educational leadership. I also have a gifted endorsement. I have taught middle school social studies, language arts and writing for 18 years.

I have always wanted to be a teacher. I started teaching in Maryland back in 2002.
