Karli's Tutoring
About
I really enjoy seeing students finally understand what they're learning. Knowing that I can help someone understand a complicated concept makes me super excited and I can't wait to help!
I remember struggling in school and not having anybody around to help me, and I hate to see anybody else feel the same. I love knowing that I can be the help that I didn't have growing up.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess what the student already knows. If they are already confident in one area, we move on to the next. When it comes to topics the sdtuent doesn't understand then I will show them how to work it out, have them repeat it back to me, or "teach" me how to do the problem and help if needed, and then move on to the stdunet solving them on their own.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not have professional training, which I know will shy away some people. I have taken several several advanced math classes, as well as tutuored students my own age in higher level maths and elementary level math and reading. I also took part in teaching second grade math during my senior year as a student intern.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I don't have a set pricing. I belive that all students should have access to a tutor if needed. Whatever the parent is able to pay, or whatever they feel is earned, I will accept.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always wanted to be a teacher. I started off by teaching my younger siblings the things that I was learning in school, adn then grew inot me tutoring my peers, and I then interned in an elemntary school and loved it so much. I couldn't imagine dedicating myself to anything else.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly elemntary age, but I have also worked with middle and high school aged students on specific math subjects.
