Math Made Easy
About
With over twenty years of experience, I have found ways to relate math to students in a way they understand. I try to make the learning meaningful. When I was in the classroom, my students passed state standardized tests at a higher rate than the state average.
I enjoy seeing students improve in the area of math. There is a certain glow that students have when they start to understand what they are doing. This is when the work I do seems the most worthwhile.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically like to find a little info about the student such as their interest so that I may relate the math to their interest. Linking to their interest helps students to remember information. I have a B.S. in Mathematices Education and have taught for more than 20 years in various school districts.
