What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with introducing myself and asking the student their learning style. If they do not know I try and try untill we figure it out.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge based off of time. I do Twenty dollars an hour and if we are not doing a online session, I have an aditional Ten dollars for travel.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started when I was assisting my math teacher in 6th grade and it just continued.
What types of students have you worked with?
I cannot say I have worked with everylearing type, but I have worked with majority of the learning types.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
See what your learning type is and find someone that would help you with that and not gouge you out of money. Life can be hard at times, you need someone to listen if you want to vent and understand if you are not able to do math at the poin.
