I love working with young people looking to improve their skills. I am a recent college graduate (Brigham Young University, B.S. in Psychology, Neuroscience emphasis), taking a gap year before starting graduate studies. I received multiple grants and scholarships throughout my undergraduate career (e.g. Gates Millennium Scholars, Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, BYU Heritage Scholarship, several departmental and college grants) and have experience in tutoring students in college-level courses. I was also employed as a research assistant in multiple labs.
I love seeing the "ah-ha!" moment in people!

Mr. Bennion tutored me in learning Portuguese! I can honesty say I am truly fluent in the Portuguese language largely due to his teaching style and great knowledge. Not only does he know what he is teaching, but his delivery methods worked great for me! He worked one-on-one with me and I could tell he ACTUALLY CARED about my progress. Angus helped tutor me for an intro to psychology course. He was very knowledgeable on the subject and was helpful and kind in my studies. He helped me and other students understand difficult concepts from lectures, review class material for exams, and brainstorm, revise, and edit essays. I would highly recommend him as a tutor.

Angus tutored me in my first university psychology class, and helped me perform much better than I would have if I was left studying by myself. He was comfortable teaching the material, and very knowledgable. I felt more prepared for exams and lectures thanks to his efforts than I did from other tutors for the class. He was also very valuable for my writing assignments for the class, as he is well versed in how to write professionally and efficiently. Hes patient, encouraging, and well prepared. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a tutor.
